If you aren't using a DDNS service such as no-ip.com, you may need to update your IP address if your internet service provider assigns you a new one. To check for your new IP address, follow the steps below using a computer or smart phone that is using the same internet connection as your DVR or NVR.


  1. Make sure your computer or smart phone is using the same internet connection as the DVR or NVR you want to access. If you're using a smart phone or tablet, it must be connected to Wifi on the same computer network as your DVR or NVR.

  3. Update the software you use to access your equipment with the new IP address.
